Right off of Queen Street East lies Completo, a cosy South American sandwich and snack shop. Completo is complete with a lot of outdoor seating in the front, tables and picnic benches both included. The menu is simple and to the point: some sandwiches, some meal boxes, some fries with add-ons available. One menu favourite is the churassco sandwich, choice of thinly sliced and grilled steak, pork or chorizo sausage on a toasted bun with diced tomato, mashed avocado, lots of mayo, roasted red pepper sauce and the house-made hot sauce. Herbivores need not fret as there are vegetarian-friendly sandwiches and tacos, plus Completo’s Hatch Fries dish of hand-cut fries with tomato-cilantro salsa, mashed avocado, jalepeno-lime crema and that house-made hot sauce. Oh, and that’s not even the poutine that’s listed. So it’s safe to say that the Latin flavours have captured the hearts and stomach of Leslieville locals — go taste why!
